Branded Traitor Image

Your tribe or hometown believes you to be a traitor to what they stand for. Whether or not you did betray them, they have cast you out with only what you need to survive for a few days, and orders have been given to kill you on sight. Those who used to call you friends hate you now, and a few may be actively searching for you just to see you and follow through with those orders.

Skill Proficiencies: Survival, Investigation
Tool Proficiencies: None.
Languages: Choose any two.
Equipment: 1) an explorer's pack

2) fishing tackle OR a hunting trap

3) a pouch with 10 gold pieces

Feature: "Welcome to the Neighborhood"

Though hated by the people you used to live with, those outside your home community find you oddly charming (unless you're a bard, in which case they find you absurdly charming). Commoners (those living modestly at best) will extend a hand to you if they see you are in need of equipment or a place to stay. With good enough persuasion (DC chosen by DM), this applies to those that are more wealthy, too. They will defend you if accused, but will sell you out if threatened with their life.
