You were raised in a tightly-knit and remote community of wood elves in the High Forest. Your elders taught you the ways of the wild, showed you how to hunt but also how to live in harmony and accordance with nature. The animals of the forest are your family and the tall trees of the forest your home. You could never imagine yourself leaving and be anywhere else but protected by the green canopies that grew up under, but tragedy has disrupted your peace and forced you to travel to strange and new places.
- Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in two of the following: Survival, Nature, Medicine, Stealth, Animal Handling, or Athletics.
- Tool Proficiencies: You are proficient in one tool of your choice, as well as one type of musical instrument.
- Equipment: A set of common clothes in the style of your tribe, a set of traveler's clothes with a hood, one tool that you are proficient in, one instrument you are proficient in, a trinket (like a piece of jewellery, a small carved figurine, or something similar in size) given to you by someone from your tribe, a hooded lantern, a tent and a pouch containing 5 gp.
You have an excellent memory for maps and geography, and you can always recall the general layout of terrain, settlements, and other features around you. In addition, you can find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth.
