Cat Topia is a large island near the edge of the Frigid Ocean. This particular background is always for wind cats, so if you want your character to be from a different part of the island choose one of the other cat Topian backgrounds. It is also for Tabaxi only, so pick a different background for other races. Cat Topia is a really nice place, and many different groups have tried to invade the island and steal it from the Tabaxi. Luckily the Tabaxi who live on that island have unlocked special abilities gained by living there for so long. The special thing about the island is that it has nearly every biome, and it is also quite big. Rumor has it that those who live there long enough will unlock special powers. Unfortunately, only the kids get those special powers. The first generation to settle there doesn't get those powers, only those who were born on the island do. No one besides the Tabaxi who live there knows this, however. The people from other parts of the world all just assume they'll get powers if they live there for a few months. Each person who was born on the island will get special abilities based on the exact part of the island they were born on. Those who were born on the tundra section of the island will have ice magic, those who were born on the desert Savannah or Mesa sections will have fire powers, those who were born in the large cove on the east part of the island will have water powers, those who were born on the Mountains will have wind powers, those who were born on the flower forest plains or grassland area will have earth powers, those who were born in the forest jungle or taiga sections will have fairy magic, And those who were born on the giant graveyard section of the island will have undeath related powers. This background is for earth cats, so pick a different background if you want your character to be from a different part of the island. Wind cats are great climbers, and they automatically learn the slow fall spell. They cannot fly, but they can glide once per day. If the cat has already used the glide ability, they will usually use the slow fall spell. Higher level wind cats can summon tornadoes. Lower level ones can probably summon smaller tornadoes.
