Regardless of who you are, be it a student, laborer, or even secretly a super powerful mage, things just... happen. One way or another, fate seemed to conspire against you and has taken you from your home realm, dropping you into a whole new world and forcing you to either adjust or die.
- Skill Proficiencies: You may choose any 2 skills from Arcana, Athletics, History, Insight, Perception, or Survival.
- Tool Proficiencies: 1 set of tools of your choice.
- Languages: A language from your homeland. (Discuss with your DM on which language would fit your character.)

Something came along in your life that led to you being taken from your world and into another. Whether it was something you could normally not survive, or perhaps some otherworldly force decided to take you themselves. Roll a d6 or select from the table below to determine what brought you to this other world.
| d6 | Cause of the Isekai |
|---|---|
| 1 | Hit by a truck/bus |
| 2 | Fell down an old well |
| 3 | Plucked out of the world by a god |
| 4 | Activated a strange app on your phone |
| 5 | Made contact with a magic relic |
| 6 | Angered a magical creature (hag, genie, fiend, etc) |
Your initial entry of you to this world is often a strange sight. Not many know the specifics of how you arrived here, but you come with an unnatural air.
However, this has worked in your favor in some ways. It has caused some people to become far kinder to you. When looking for a place to stay, you find it much easier to find simple accommodations similar to a cheap inn room and at least one meal. Some people are generally kinder to you, even if they don't normally accept outsiders. Others may see the fact that you simply are having a bad time.
