When fighting dragons, you can make an attempt to resolve the conflict peacefully, if the dragon is of a good alignment, no saving throws are required and you will gain the same amount of XP as you would if you were to kill it. If the dragon is of an evil alignment, it must succeed on a DC 12 Charisma saving throw or become charmed by you. You and the rest of your party will gain the same amount of XP as would if you had killed the dragons.
