Where there are money and stakes there will always be someone to gamble for it, whether it's against all odds or not. Gamblers like to play with randomness but once you've joined their inner circle you may realize it's all about mathematics and statistics. Most gamblers, the vast majority of them to be true, like to gamble for the thrill of it, but a professional or influential gambler--someone "serious"-- will be more likely to bend the rules or favor one side to balance it to his own.
You may choose the game you prefer to play or gamble with, but sometimes it's the environment that's against you. Hence you have a "favorite terrain", confronting different types of players and gamblers.

Whether it might be the case or not, as a gambler you will always try to surprise your challenger. Therefore you are granted with one free advantage. This may be used as an ability or a skill check, Although this may only be used once per long rest.

Gamblers are often perceived as manipulative or calculating persons. But after all they are individuals with motives, qualities and flaws, they are certainly not machines nor seers.
