Forgotten Warrior Image

You once served a great army and were part of a legion of soldiers, but during an encounter something happened and while others escaped, you did not. You were left behind and forgotten, trapped in darkness or simply frozen in time.

Questions to consider with your DM: When were you left? (days, months, centuries?) , What are the details of your legion? (name, insignia, cause) , Did you return to consciousness recently or have you been alone in the dark for a long time?

Skill Proficiencies: Athletics, History
Tool Proficiencies: Vehicles (land)
Languages: One additional standard language
Equipment: A symbol of your rank, a symbol of your past (a letter from a loved one, a locket), one set of common clothes, one military uniform (is it outdated?) , a pack of cards and a pouch containing 10 gp.

Feature: Sergeant

You held the rank of Sergeant before you were lost. Although time has passed, you're still recognized as an authority by other soldiers, and they defer to you if they are of a lower rank. You can invoke your rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. You can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where your rank is recognized.
