Left Behind. Image

As a child, you were left behind by your parents who had to go to war, and only learned how to read via your own determination. You were able to learn how to conduct your class via an incredibly long process of trial and error, and eventually thanks to your skills, you were able to afford your own home. However, you are left with an almost uncannily inability to speak, except only to insult another’s intellect. You are bound by a misanthropic hate to anyone you meet, but you are powerless alone. With your room dark, decrepit, and with items strewn everywhere… you leave, and embark.

Skill Proficiencies: Thanks to your determination to learn how to read on your own, you learned proficiencies in two skills that you've read about. Your uncanny understanding of these skills has many people who have studied the skill for several years look upon you with jealousy.
Tool Proficiencies: You learning how to read allowed you to pick up a very large book describing how to use one specific tool. Anybody who sees you using this tool will stare in jealousy because of your expertise with that tool.
Languages: Throughout all the books you've read, reading in just one language is boring. You don't exactly understand other languages you read in, but it's a good escape from reading the boring common language.
Equipment: Thanks to your sheltered life, you know how armor works, however, you don't understand how to properly wear it or how to use it.

Feature: Determined Intelligence.

Although your parents never returned, the one thing that always raised you were books. You gain a +2 to INT saving rolls whenever it comes to History, Religion, and Medicine rolls.
