Dragon Tamer Image

This background takes place in the world of berk. When you choose this background, you should also choose a dragon. You cannot choose Toothless, since Hiccup already befriended him, but you can choose the Lightfury or one of the Nightlights. The three Nightlights' names are pouncer, Ruffrunner and Dart. The mostly white on with green eyes is pouncer and is a male. The mostly black one with green eyes is Ruffrunner and is also a male. And finally, the mostly black one with blue eyes is dart, the only female. If you want, you can rename one of the nightlights, but you might want to ask your DM for permission first. I know they never named the Lightfury, so me and my mom came up with a name for her ourselves. You can use this one or make up your own, but if you can't think of your own I've included our name below. Me and my mom renamed the lightfury Toothalina, to match Toothless. How to say: Tooth-uh-leen-uh. Oh, and one more thing. You can only choose one of them. So either you choose the Lightfury or one of the Nightlights, but you cannot choose more than one. This changes at higher levels, though. At level five you can choose two. At level ten you can choose three. And at level seventeen you can choose all of them. Keep in mind that you can only have one of them with you at the same time, but you can go to a stable and choose one of the others to hang out with you instead. Note: You can choose Toothless as your main dragon as long as you reach a certain level of reputation with Berk and are level thirteen at the lowest. In the campaign I'm creating, each group of people (Berk, berserker, Outcast, etc) has different levels of reputation. You must complete quests and other things to raise your reputation. The higher your reputation, the more rewards you unlock. There are Five levels of reputation for each faction. The first level for berk is 'Newcomer'. The second is 'Citizen'. The Third is 'Berkian'. The Fourth is 'Hero'. The fifth is 'Champion'. The first level for the Berserkers is 'Newbie'. The second level is 'Apprentice'. The third is 'Berserker'. Fourth is 'Barbarian'. The fifth is 'Warrior'. The First level for the Outcasts is 'Stranger'. The second Level is 'Acquaintance'. The third is 'Civilian'. The Fourth is 'Outcast' and the Fifth is 'Slayer'. Each quest gives you a certain number of Reputation xp. To become a citizen instead of a newcomer, you have to gain 300 xp. Each berkian quest at level one gives you twenty xp. To get to Berkian, you must gain six hundred xp. Each quest gives you fourty xp at that point. To get to Hero you must earn eight hundred xp. Each quest gives you fifty xp at that level. To get to champion you must get one thousand and  fifty xp. The reward for reaching Citizen is your first dragon egg (your DM chooses the type) and two free stable slots, as well as two hundred reputation coins. You can also purchase up to one more stable slot at this level. Your first level stable slot costs one hundred Reputation coins. Your second level stable slot costs two hundred Reputation coins. Your third level stable slot costs three hundred Reputation coins. Your fourth level stable slot costs four hundred rep coins. Your fifth level stable slot costs five hundred rep coins. You can trade regular currency for more reputation currency at the northern markets. One rep point costs two gold pieces. Two rep points would cost three. The maximum number of rep points you can buy is one thousand, which costs two thousand gold. The reward for becoming a Berkian is one more free stable slot, one dragon egg of your choice, three hundred reputation coins,  and one purchaseable stable slot. The reward for becoming a hero is one purchaseable stable slot, five hundred reputation coins, and one more dragon egg of your choice. The reward for becoming a champion is the possibility of purchasing a special slot specifically for summoning another dragon from one of your stable slots, seven hundred reputation coins, and the ability to summon another dragon from your stable slots to help you out in battle for a short period of time. You cannot have Toothless as your main dragon, you can only have him in the slot where you can summon him so he can temporarily help you out in battle. The reward for becoming a Apprentice is your first dragon egg (DM chooses the type), two free stable slots, and two hundred reputation coins. The reward for becoming a Berserker is one free stable slot, one purchaseable stable slot, one dragon egg of your choice, and three hundred reputation coins. The reward for becoming a Barbarian is one purchaseable stable slot, five hundred reputation coins, and one more dragon egg of your choice. The reward for becoming a Warrior is unlocking the ability to purchase the special stable slot, and seven hundred reputation coins. The reward for becoming a Acquaintance is your first dragon egg (DM chooses the type), two free stable slots, two hundred reputation coins, and one purchaseable stable slot. The reward for becoming a Civilian is one purchaseable stable slot, three hundred reputation coins, and one dragon egg of your choice. The reward for becoming an Outcast is one purchaseable stable slot, five hundred reputation coins, and one more dragon egg of your choice. The reward for becoming a Slayer is the ability to purchase the special stable slot, and seven hundred reputation coins. Spoiler alert: Did you know there are secret reputation ranks? That's right, you can become the leader of a faction if you want to. You must first reach the top of the Reputation levels, and then you must purchase a secret item from a specific merchant in the northern markets. Once you have the Challenge Ticket, go to the home island of the faction you want to become the leader of. Then, Challenge them to become the leader, and if you win you become the leader of that faction. You can try again, but you must wait one in-game month between challenges. The reward for becoming the Chief of Berk is being able to have Toothless as your main dragon, being able to order the people of Berk to do anything you want, having the right to summon the other leaders for a council of leaders, and having an infinite number of stable slots. Just keep in mind that you still have to purchase new ones, but you can purchase as many as you want (as long as you have enough coins.). The reward for becoming the War Chief of the Berserkers is being able to order any of the Berserkers to do anything you want, being able to have Dagur's triple strike dragon as your main dragon, having the right to summon the other leaders for a council, and having an infinite number of purchaseable stable slots. You also get a bonus +3 to your strength checks. The reward for being the Battle Chief of the Outcasts is being able to order any of the Outcasts to do whatever you want, having the right to summon the other leaders for a council, having an infinite number of purchaseable stable slots, and being able to befriend and ride any dragon you want, even normally untameable dragons like speed stingers or the skrill or changewings. You also have a +3 to your constitution stat. The challenge type for becoming the Chief of Berk is a dragon-taming challenge. You must find a Speedstinger and convince it to go into a dragon pen. Whoever does so in the least amount of time wins. The challenge type for becoming the War Chief of the Berserkers is a Duel. Fight the current Chief in a battle. Whoever has the most health when the timer runs out wins. You will have to temporarily cancel the challenge if you or your opponent's health drops below two hit points. If this happens, you must wait until both you and your opponent have full health, and then you must try again. The challenge type for becoming the Battle Chief of the Outcasts is a dragon race. You will fly in a circle on a path of trees. There is a line where all the trees have been cut down. You must land on the landing  platform three times. If you enter the regular forest on the outside of the ring you will be disqualified. You are allowed to try and find a shortcut through the trees as long as you go through the inner part of the circle, but be warned: that area is a maze of tree trunks and vines and who knows what else. Try not to get lost! Note: If you want to choose your own dragon to start with, you should check out our dragon starter pack! It only costs 20 Glory bucks (Or one feat).
