Military - Extra Rank Two: Animal Backup (Wolf)

This background is for people in the military. This particular version is another extra rank, just like the rider one. I will add similar ranks with different animals later, but I am starting with my favorite, a wolf. People with this background are often good with animals. Their job is to call their animal friends if needed, like a backup army. You can only choose one animal type at a time, and can only summon up to 20 of them at a time. This particular version is for my fellow wolf-lovers. This is the background you should choose if your a fan of wolves and also want your character to be in the military. People with this background can usually speak wolf, too. I like to call this language 'Lycan', and I'm imagining that werewolves speak the same language. Since this is not one of the usual language options (and also since I don't know how to add a custom language), you'll have to print out your character sheet and then write 'lycan' as one of the languages you speak yourself. Whether you use a pen, pencil, marker, or something else is up to you, just remember to write small. Anyways, you should work with your DM to decide if you can speak to all animals or just wolves. This rank is neither high nor low, so there is no proper way to greet you as a fellow member of the military. However, only the military leaders can order you around. This changes if the military leader gives the other members permission to give you orders, however. You gain a +3 to animal handling checks when dealing with wolves.
