Talk with your DM about how your biome of origin may affect you.
- Skill Proficiencies: Instead of acquiring coin for trade, you've been taught how to forage on your own, learning how to survive on the land you grew up on.
You have developed niche skills that aid you in your adventure.
- Tool Proficiencies: The tools you used, despite normally being handmade and of lower quality, were extremely important for your survival.
- Equipment: Equipment is scarce, however you maintain the few you do have as well as possible
Experiences change drastically between biomes, have it be the climate, the available resources, the methods of survival; everything depends on what kind of territory you've found yourself in.
