You are one of those frozen in stone for millennia by Sanirix. Though your way of living has been turned upside down, you try your hardest in this strange new world. It might take some getting used to, but not being under a beholder's control is a freedom you have never lived. You may have been an especially rebellious slave from one of Sanirix's outposts or a diligent worker that failed Sanirix. Whatever you were, you were not worthy of death in Sanirix's eyes, and were trapped in stone for what would be all of eternity had no one found you.
