You were left in the forest when you were very young as your family/village departed in haste from being attacked. You were found by a Forester (Ranger) who took you in and trained you in fieldcraft and hunting in the forest, trapping and various types of weapons for hunting and combat. You learned how to survive in the forest and how to defend yourself against predators. Life was good, growing up in the forest, although one day your benefactor received a message calling him to report for duty. He leaves, stating that he should only be gone for a fortnight but he has never returned. Since then, you have always been alone and have have done things your way. You respect nature and protect it against all things that would destroy or defile it. You became known to the surrounding villages as the "Wolf Child". You avoid the people who come to explore the forest and villages. Animals are not frightened of your movements in and around your home forest. You left the forester's home and made a new home in the forest in a hollowed out ancient oak tree with the hidden entrance fifteen feet above the forest floor above a stout primary branch.
