Bold’S Time Traveler Image

You were sent, via magic or otherwise, back/forward in time ____ days/weeks/months/years in order to stop a horrible event from occurring. It’s up to you what it was/is. War, ecological disaster, terrorist attack, Gods/devils attacking, a tyrant coming to power, the entire world ends?

Here is the issue, altering history TOO much will cause a rupture in the fabric of reality, destroying your plain and causing a chain reaction to all the other plains. If that occurs, forget your mission, you’ve created a catastrophe of your own!

Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in history, religion, and one other skill you know will aid you in your mission.
Tool Proficiencies: One set of tools that you think will help your mission.
Languages: You speak common and one other language from this time period.
Equipment: A simple looking amulet that is secretly your return beacon to the future, 15 GP, a set of traveling clothes

Feature: Issues With Time Travel

Breaking Reality

DM: Roll a d20 before starting the campaign and don’t tell the PC. That is the amount of people the PC is allowed to tell about their actual origin/mission before they break reality (minimum of 2).

It is up to the DM how/if to warn the character that he/she is breaking reality. Do small things change? Is the weather affected? It’s up to you!
