you... don't even know who you were before becoming an Adventurer. You come up with so many different ideas of who you were, ideas that would keep you up at night. perhaps one day you will recall, despite this however you can't help but feel like something is missing from you. beyond just your memory.

each time you cast a spell above 4th level. roll a d20
1-5: the spell fails and you feel a stab of pain deep in your very being, you loose you reactions this round
5-10: the spell fails but no other affects
10:-15: the spell succeeds, but you feel its affect is weakened
15-20: the spells suceeds with no issue
you learn the darkness spell and can cast it once per long rest.
you have advantage on saving throws against frightened.
