Initiate (Amonkhet) Image

You are an initiate on the path to completing the trials of the five gods in the hope of becoming the next great heroes of the multiverse to hunt down extraplanar threats. The trials are focused on finding and training planeswalkers of the multiverse to replace some of the legendary heroes that were lost in the War of the Spark. Some combination of your natural aptitude, your crop's needs, and your previous experiences led you to focus your training in one particular area of specialization- hand to hand combat, long-range combat, or spellcasting. Only a well-rounded initiate and group can truly beat all five trials to become the next great heroes.

You also are granted the planeswalker feat from taking this background.

Suggested Characteristics

An initiate's life is focused on the trials, but doesn't need to be all about the trials. Many of you may have come from different walks of life, planes, backgrounds etc. Though some initiates are only focused on training, most undergo that training while still enjoying life and experiences.
