Vlaakith's Martyr

REQUIREMENT: Githyanki Draconic Sorcerer 

Like all Githyanki you were born to serve and die for the Undying Queen of your people. You were to be an instrument of Vlaakith's will and might. You were to be a great Githyanki of renowned prowess. But what if you were meant for more? What if you were fated to be greater?

You hail from a sacred Githyanki noble house that periodically gives birth to draconic sorceress. Across the eons, your bloodline has directly traced back to the ancient past when Vlakeeth, in-exchange for gaining her lichdom and maintaining the alliance with Tiamat, reproduced with the dragon goddess to birth a holy fusion of Githyanki and chromatic Dragon - the first of your linage, the first of your noble house.  

From the first to the most recent of your ancestors, each of your predecessors have been fanatically taught to strive for incredible deeds and power, to master as many skills as possible. And then, at the climax of their potential, your ancestors have been consumed by the Undying Queen one by one throughout the generations. This has been done not only to fuel Vlakeeth's phylactery, but to also empower her with what your special blood embodies and what powers/skills was gained by those sacrificed.

You are now the latest of this draconic bloodline. The latest of a great dynasty immortalized as sacred martyrs amongst your fellow Githyanki - predisposed to become as powerful as possible and die for your Undying Queen so that she and the rest of your people can prosper further. 

This is all you have ever been taught, all that you have ever known to be your fate. But the future is not always set in stone, and although your ancestors have all walked the path of martyrdom....you are not so certain. You have a future yet to be decided.

To die as a great honor for your people and be immortalized favorably forever, like your ancestors. Or to forge your own future and.....live.

Skill Proficiencies:

History:
Due to your upbringing and the importance placed on what your ancestors have done for your fellow Githyanki and your Queen, you have gained considerable knowledge on the history of the Githyanki, as well as major events your people have taken part in concerning other races. 

Persuasion:
Because of the fabled nature of your birth, many fellow Githyanki take your word with slight reverence. This allowed you constant social interactions with them and thus the ability to project the spoken word well.   

Tool Proficiencies:

Vehicle (Space): 
Being a Githyanki, you are familiar with the spelljammer ships your people use, or raid from other races. You have also served on some for a time, gaining you knowledge of their workings.

Navigator's Tools:
Your birthright means you are expected to travel the Planes to seek power and skill. To do this, you were taught how navigation is conducted effectively, allowing you to not easily get lost when traveling known and unknown territory.
