d6 Infliction
1 You were bitten by a wild beast one night and upon the full moon turned for the first time.
2 You were cursed by a mystic artifact found deep within a darkened forest
3 A hag cursed your families blood, your birth fated to be under a full moon
4 You were born into a long line of Lycanthropes, passed down and diluted, almost forgotten until...
5 You have pledged your spirit to a dark druid, surrendering yourself to the rage of the beast
6 You were the result of the workings of hemocraft, a blood mage delving in to forbidden arts

Feature: Transformation

You are cursed, inside you dwells the blood of the cursed wolf. You are victim to its howl as it swirls in your mind, your heart, and your soul. While you maybe able to control it, your are still subject to it's bane. Throughout your journey, you may be subject to events and situations that may cause you to transform uncontrollably, and even more so, in a state of uncontrollable fury.

Where O' Were
You are no stranger to your curse and thus able to transform at time in control. When doing so, you may use an action to transform into your Lycanthrope form and out. While you do not need to make a Fury Die roll, your Fury Die moves down one when you transform.

Dire of the Wolf
When events become stressful, emotional, turbulent, or threatening, the beast in your blood begins to howl. When such events occur, make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC:13). On a failure, you transform into your Lycanthrope Form (refer to the Lycanthrope Feat for details). Afterwards, roll your Fury Die. On a success, you remain in control but your Fury Die moves down one. On a failure, you enter a Wild Fury (refer to the Lycanthrope Feat for details) and move your Fury Die up by one. After taking a long rest, move your Fury Die up by one. When transformed due to a failed save, you must use your bonus action to transform back (while not in a Wild Fury) or wait an hour before the transformation to end.

Events that trigger a transformation

  • Your HP drops below 25%
  • A party member goes unconscious
  • You are frightened
  • Being made angry or stressed
  • During a Full Moon

Fury Die and Wild Fury
You are not always in control of your lycanthrope form, sometimes the beast is in control. When you transform uncontrollably, you must roll a Fury Die to see if you are in control. Fury Die are the 7 dice ranging in dimension starting at d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, d4, and d2 (or coin) in that order. When rolled, success is always 50/50, the higher numbers noting success while the lower failures. Moving down Fury Die means decreasing the die (d20 to d12), while moving up means increasing the die (d12 to d20). If you reach a d2 (coin), on a failure you enter a Blood Fury instead of a Wild Fury.

Resisting The Urge
On a failure of a Fury Die roll, you may resist the Fury by making a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC:15). On a success, you still transform but avoid the Wild Fury and your Fury Die moves down by two. However, on a failure, you enter a Blood Fury (refer to Lycanthrope Feat for details). If you under the effects of Wild Fury, at the beginning of your turn you attack the nearest creature to you with your Claw or Bite attack. At the end of your turn, make a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC: 13) to break from the Wild Fury. A creature may also use a help action, [Tooltip Not Found] or similar spell, or knock you unconscious to end your Wild Fury.

Ca-Nine Times Out Of Ten, This Never Happens, I Swear
Sometimes your fury may be more than a mindless attack, but an uncontrollable Blood Fury. In this form, you attack any and all near you, and may run away all together to hunt in the wilds, though you will not travel far from your dwellings. You are unable to break free and no saving throws will help. The only way to escape this level of rage is a Greater Restoration, being rendered unconscious, or the passing of a long rest. After a Blood Fury, your Fury Die are reset. Blood Fury come in certain situations but are not common. Entering a state of intense anger, falling unconscious, or watching a loved one die may trigger a Blood Fury. Another is when there is a Full Moon.
