You grew up in a small group of survivors after your native forest was invaded by dangerous monsters. This childhood forcing you to hone your ability to not be seen and avoid traps. You have a heightened sense for traps set by monsters, especially in forest settings. You traverse forests with ease, even when others would find the terrain difficult. You prefer to work alone or in small groups since this makes going unnoticed easier.
You are always equipped with the tools to disarm a trap and the skills to 'disappear', thus making yourself useful in life outside the forest has not proven difficult.

While you initially used these spells purely for evasion you have found their usefulness extends to more areas than escape alone.
Suggested Characteristics
Most survivors have an understandable lack of trust for others, but once you manage to earn their trust they are frequently the most loyal companions. Larger authorities and their laws mean little to those whom were abandoned by society, survivors therefore live by their own moral code which may or may not align with the established laws.
There is a rumor suggesting that it may have been elves that have released the monsters upon your forest in order to hunt them for sport. This rumor leaves you with great distrust towards all elves. Should this rumor prove true then compensation/retribution will be demanded.
