Not merely a builder, nor purely an engineer, you have spent years of study developing a masterful balance of aesthetic design, stable engineering, and practical construction. As an architect, you have dreamt up buildings and overseen them becoming reality. Cities--and the peoples and cultures that dwell therein--are quietly shaped by the aedifices of architects like you.

For whatever reason, however, you could not continue as you had been. Something changed--wanderlust, lifechanging news, a catastrophic failure--that led you to leave the life of an architect behind and to take up that of an adventurer.

3 I don't mind a little stress--I thrive under pressure.
4 I love sketching and designing, almost more than the actual building part.

6 I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge about history, religion, culture, and art.
7 I know people say I'm eccentric. I frame it as, I am a creative thinker who prefers my own company!

d6 Ideal
1 Integrity. Buildings, and everything we do, are made for people. It all should be beautiful, safe, and meaningful. (Good)
2 Traditionalism. Our forebears worked to refine exactly what constitutes beauty, effectiveness, and stability, and there's no good reason to stray from their findings. (Lawful)
3 Avant-garde. Not just rules, but all of our assumptions are made to be broken. We should redefine everything--what exactly is a building? What exactly is life? (Chaotic)
4 Influence. Listen, most people have no idea what they're doing. Thank goodness that I, and my talent, are here to show people how things should be. (Evil)
5 Fulfilment. Honestly, it's not about being great, or famous, or noble, or even rich. I do what I do because I like it and want to do it, that's all. (Neutral)
6 Purpose. I don't want anything I build, anything I do, to be in vain. I want to be intentional and effective in all parts of my life. (Any)
d6 Bond
1 I became an architect to build my dream building, that everybody will remember. I still haven't built it.
2 I honor the gods by designing buildings. While I put my devotion into anything I build, I especially love working on temples and shrines.
3 I've been given a chance to design something to honor and impress my ruler. I absolutely need to make sure I do it right.
4 Maybe if I design things that are stable, organized, and beautiful, eventually I will be stable, organized, and beautiful inside as well.
5 They say no building can withstand all and any disaster. I am determined to prove them wrong.
6 I promised my loved ones that I would build them a beautiful, cozy home. I hope I have the chance to make good on that promise.
d6 Flaw
1 I may have a...bit of an ornamentation addiction, and not just with buildings. Look, there's no such thing as too much!
2 Wait, isn't it the engineer's job to make sure the building actually stands?
3 There is only one correct way to build something. Sad that most people seem to ignore that fact.
4 I become so involved in drafting and sketching that I sometimes forget little things like eating and sleeping.
5 I become very angry if anybody insinuates that I'm *just* a builder. Or *just* an engineer. Or *just* an artist. Or...
6 I don't think there's anything wrong with cutting corners to lower costs and get the job done quicker.
