You are an Avvar tribesman, you grew up among your kin, you’re tougher than the average lowlander. You and your people are hardy and independent, valuing strength, resilience and their connection to nature and the spirits. They are distrustful of outsiders and are fiercely loyal to their clans. 

 
Skill Proficiencies: You have proficiency with Athletics, Survival, arcana checks to identify spirit magic, history checks relating to avvar holds, and historical events surrounding avvar. Animal handling related to your tribe’s hold beast, religion involving spirits. 
Tool Proficiencies: You have proficiency with herbalism kits.
Languages: You understand, speak and write Sylvan (the language of the spirits), common, and ferelden.
Equipment: A trophy taken from a defeated foe, a set of traveler’s clothes, a small pouch of 10 gp (traded from lowlanders) and a hunting trap.
 
Feature: Voice of the Spirits

You have a deep connection with the spirits of the wild and the mountains. You can commune with the natural world to gain guidance. Once per day, you can ask the spirits for aid in the form of a simple omen (similar to the Augury spell, but only regarding matters of nature and survival). This guidance may come in the form of a whispering wind, the movement of animals or a sudden feeling of clarity.
