Butlers and Mistresses are those that run households and keeps. They preform duties such as dressing their patrons, cooking and cleaning, running errands and anything that makes a house run smooth.

With these skills, Butlers/Mistresses have attention to detail and can guess what their patrons need before they even voice their wants and needs. The ability to foresee the needs of others is a gift that allows them to read body language, facial language and watching what people do and having insight to the needs of others.

Most Butlers and Mistresses are always impeccably dressed and never allow grime or dirt to cover their clothing. If they get dirty, they simply put on new clothing or they have it magically cleaned.

Skill Proficiencies: Being able to decern what others need before they ask or make known in anyway what they want is a great form of Perception and Insight. 

Tool Proficiencies: Advantage on Insight and Perception checks to read body language and facial movements to perceive a pc/npc's needs or wants. Also would help with determining deceitfulness of person talking to. Not trained to work on monsters that have no spoken language. Disadvantage on checks to determine falsehood of races not contacted before.

Languages: The Butler/Mistress can always speak their masters preferred language. Choose one language from the selection of languages.

Equipment: Proficiency with Calligraphy tools for writing lists and knowing how to forge properly written orders and documents.

There is not guild nor is there a school to be taught. The Butler/Mistress is taught by the house Chamberlin or House Mother who over sees the training of all servants within the household, both inside and out. A good Butler/Mistress of the house is always in need and will never be without work. The better the perception, the higher ranked the client or master of the house. A butler with at least a bonus of 4 in Insight and Perception can always find lodging at minor noble or rich merchants home for a short time, to help straighten out the kinks within the staff of the current home or estate.
