Writer's Tools
The Writer's Tools is a homebrewed Artisan's Tools not originally found in the 2014/2024 Player's Handbook. This includes the following gear:
4 candles, 5 Inkbottles, an Ink Pen, 300 Sheets of Parchment, and 300 Sheets of Paper
Intellectual Origin
1. You were brought under a wizard to study under as an apprentice.
2. Hearing the tales of bards and travelling heroes made you want to study, so you bought books yourself.
3. Your family was a shopkeeper of books galore, and they gave you the shop as an inheritance.
4. You wanted to know about the world yourself, so you wrote your own books and published them to the world.
As a Librarian, you know lots about the world, history, religion, things that you would be taught living in a high social status. You easily befriend the likes of nobles and other rich folk. When you use this feature, you can find comfort as a guest to rich folk that would be willing to house you and 5 others. In addition, the cost of such will be reduced by a third of the original pricing if they run an inn or a tavern. Services like food and entertainment would be provided free.
