You have spent much of your life training to destroy the Madness taking hold across the land. Most of your memories contain teachers training your martial, alchemical and abyssal knowledge to best destroy the vile Plague of Madness.
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Investigation
- Languages: Two of your choice
- Equipment: A symbol of your order (a gift to you when you exited your training), a book of knowledge on the Madness Plague, 5 sticks of incense, a thick cloak, emblazoned with your master's symbol , a set of common clothes , and a pouch containing 15 gp.
As a Hunter, the common people both fear and revere you. Your knowledge of Madness is second to few, and the possibility of your corruption is high, though your will carries you forward in your quest to destroy the madness.
When you interact with common folk, you may invoke fear among them, or have them adore you. This choice is made upon your first interaction, and is permanent for the population in the area until actions can be taken to change their opinions.
Suggested Characteristics
Hunters are shaped by their experiences in their training and their mentors. Their study of Madness and their tenets affect their mannerisms, ideals and ideologies to their cores. Their flaws may be some hidden hypocrisy, heretical idea, or ideal taken to the utmost in their quest to destroy the Madness.
