As a member of this family, you have done some rather... dodgy things. If someone were to list all the crimes it's possible to commit, it's likely you have committed most of them, and if you haven't someone in your family has. But at the same time, there is an air of gentlemanly/gentlewomanly flourish with which you do your dirty deeds. Sure, you might have murdered the guy, but at least you had the common decency to give him a decent burial and send his mother some flowers afterwards.

Mobsters will be very used to a life of crime, but they will likely be fairly well mannered and respectful. Some are chaotic as a result of their criminal nature, but lawful ones that stick to their own codes of conduct rather than laws of the land are just as likely.
