You work for a living using your combat skills for profit, whether you were a bounty hunter or someone’s personal guard you just worked to get paid. You may have worked for criminals as an enforcer or for the law as a 3rd party operative. Either way mercenary life is a life of traveling town to town and completing contracts

You’re work sometimes asks if you to work outside the bounds of the law, thus as long as you have a contract and your license you can typically get the law to look the other way on certain crimes depending on the severity of them.

The training for mercenary work often times shapes a person’s personality, your training may have made you hardened and cold to those you’re hunting or compassionate to those who you may be safe guarding. Either way you’re time learning the trade has changed you either for the better or worse.
