Carnival folk are a motley crew drawing from every corner of the world. This makes them hard to generalize; however, a common theme is a distrust of authority (having seen the way it is abused) and a deep love for those they consider family.

d6 Personality Trait
1 I do not trust authority, having seen it abused far too many times.
2 My life as a traveler has filled me with wanderlust, and I hate being in one place for too long.
3 I always plan everything out, and try to constantly be one step ahead of everyone else.
4 I have a remarkably calm demeanor, even in the most tense of situations.
5 I'm a terrible flirt, and can't help but hit on every cute person I meet.
6 Despite feeling comfortable in front of a crowd, I feel awkward in one-on-one situations.
d6 Ideal
1 Freedom. I hate being tied down, and want to always be able to come and go as I please. (Neutral)
2 Entertainment. I wish to entertain the world, believing that it is the best service I can offer to others. (Good)
3 Family. I'm loyal to my (blood or found) family above all else. (Any)
4 Wealth. I desire intense wealth above all else; and as my career path doesn't particularly provide that, I'm willing to stoop to whatever necessary to obtain it. (Evil)
5 Earned Respect. My respect has to be earned through actions; titles mean nothing to me. (Neutral)
6 Charity. Although I have little to myself, I am always willing to share what I have with others. (Good)
d6 Bond

2 There is a younger person in the carnival whom I've taken under my wing and consider a surrogate child or younger sibling.
3 I only feel at home when I'm travelling with the carnival.

5 I once fell in love with a beautiful member of the upperclass; they loved me back, but declined a relationship as their family disapproved of our union due to my status.
6 I feel a deep and genuine connection to all people, and wish to bring love and light into the lives of all I encounter.
d6 Flaw
