Optional Rule For Warlock Image

This is not a subclass for warlock, rather an optional rule that is taken at 9th level warlock.  It allows you upgrade one invocation you already know to enhance its abilities.  You can take another one at 18th level.  Some of the options are:

- Agonising Blast upgrade “Sting of the Ancients”: on a hit, your Eldritch Blast requires that the target subtract 1d4 from the next saving throw they make within 1 minute.

- Armor of Hades upgrade “Eldritch Armor”: cast Mage Armor as a bonus action and without Verbal components, and cast shield once per long rest.

- Ascendant Step upgrade “Wings of Old”: when you cast Levitate on yourself, you can move yourself up to 30 feet (not up or down) in the air.

- Devil’s Sight upgrade “Sight of the Patron”: gain 60 feet of truesight for 1 minute once per long rest, and 10 feet of blindsight.

- Eldritch Mind upgrade “Split Focus”: gain the ability to concentrate on two spells at once.  Any check you make to concentrate on these spells is not affected by the Eldritch Mind invocation giving advantage, as you essentially split the two rolls between the two spells.  When you take damage, you must roll Concentration for both spells.  If you lose concentration by taking damage, you gain two levels of exhaustion (only once, not two per spell).  When the spell ends due to its duration, you take one level of exhaustion.  You can concentrate on two spells twice per long rest.

- Eldritch Spear upgrade “Frightful Lance”: Eldritch Blast ignores half and three quarters cover, and you can cast it without seeing the target, as long as it hasn’t moved since you saw it last.  Otherwise, the spell fails.

- Eye of the Rune Keeper upgrade “Eldritch Linguist”: gain three extra language proficiencies, and you now can understand the general idea of what any creature speaking a language is attempting to communicate.

- Grasp of Hadar upgrade “Chained Grasp”: the target must succeed a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the Eldritch Blast, as well as moved towards you.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

- Repelling Blast upgrade “Forceful Blow”: the target must succeed a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone by Eldritch Blast, as well as moved away from you.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

- Thief of Five Fates upgrade “Pickpocket of Destinies”: you can cast bane once for free per long rest, at the level of your Warlock spell slots.  You can still cast this with any Pact Magic spell slots you have.

If these optional rules are popular I’ll add to them and incorporate feedback.
