Work with your DM to define your kingdom and your role within it. Are you the heir to the throne, learning the ways of rulership from a wise and ancient king or queen? Or are you far down the line of succession, free to adventure and explore without the weight of responsibility on your wings? Perhaps you’ve already claimed some authority within the kingdom—managing a specific enchanted domain or overseeing the magical creatures that live under your care.
What is the nature of your royal family? Are you part of a long line of fairy dragon royalty, with deep ties to the magical politics of the Feywild, or are you from a newly risen royal house, your family still establishing its influence? How do the other rulers of the Feywild or neighboring kingdoms regard your family—are you respected, feared, or seen as a playful nuisance? And how do your subjects view you? Are you beloved for your kindness and charm, or are you seen as a mischievous trickster?
As a prince or princess, what do you think of your royal role? Are you eager to take on more responsibility, or do you prefer the freedom of adventuring away from the court? How does your family feel about your adventuring career—are they supportive, or do they wish you would focus more on your royal duties?
Does your royal house have a crest, emblem, or symbol that you proudly display? Perhaps a crown of shimmering leaves, a gleaming magical gem, or an animal companion that is considered sacred to your family. These details help establish your royal lineage and the magical influence your family holds over the enchanted realm. Dragons Fear
When angered, you can radiate menace. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Strength, Constitution, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Instead of exhaling destructive energy, you can expend a use of your Breath Weapon trait to roar, forcing each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). Suggested Characteristics
Nobles are born and raised to a very different lifestyle than most people ever experience, and their personalities reflect that upbringing. A noble title comes with a plethora of bonds—responsibilities to family, to other nobles (including the sovereign), to the people entrusted to the family’s care, or even to the title itself. But this responsibility is often a good way to undermine a noble.

You have the service of three retainers loyal to your family. These retainers can be attendants or messengers, and one might be a majordomo. Your retainers are commoners who can perform mundane tasks for you, but they do not fight for you, will not follow you into obviously dangerous areas (such as dungeons), and will leave if they are frequently endangered or abused.
