As a young child, you were found and taken in by a Faerie court. For one reason or another, you were raised and taught as one of their own and prohibited from leaving the court. As an adult, you managed to escape to the Material plane, finally experiencing the life you were denied.

Due to being raised among the Fae, you are familiar with Fae culture, rules and tricks, and are skilled with words and wordplay. Fae of the court that raised you see you as one of their own, a prodigal son; other Fae recognise your upbringing and will treat you with slightly more respect than other mortals.
Not being familiar with mortal customs, however, makes you somewhat unsettling to the people around you, and some might treat you with suspicion.
