Goblin Slave Image

Through circumstances beyond your control, you are one of the few surviving members of your tribe. You've had other packs, several. Each time, something happens and they have died while you have survived. A life of hardship is the life of a goblin.

This time though, when the raiders attacked, your people did not stand a chance. You were captured, a bag thrown over your head. Your last memory of your pack was hearing the fighting, the screaming and then silence as everything faded to black.

You were sold into slavery, beaten and broken along with a few others from your tribe and served under a criminal with a history of breaking the law. You have spent a lot of time around other criminals and know how their world works through silent observation. Violence and punishment were the norm for disobedience. You have survived up to this point by flouting the rules and regulations of society while maintaining your duties. Being subservient had its perks. You got to sleep indoors, stay warm and dry during the winter months and had access to food if you were careful.

Because of your goblin nature, you actually began to give suggestions from time to time to family and crew on why their olans wouldn'twork. Little by little, you gained their trust and before you knew it, you recognized your Master as the new tribe leader and gave complete loyalty. They were not just your Masters, they became your new tribe.

Once again, through circumstances beyond your control, your Master gained a lot of enemies. Once of whom attacked where you were, destroying the place and everyone in it. You are the sole survivor. You gathered what little you had and realized that you were alone again. The goblin know there is safety in numbers. Always have people to hide behind when the attackers come. You need to find others or things might not do not go well.

Background Furniture

Servants are often expected to remain close and stand by for when they are to perform duties. While doing so they are to remain still and not speak, sometimes for hours on end. While standing perfectly still and silent, you are able to blend into the background while remaining in plain sight. You can receive a +2 to stealth or performance checks when fading into the background and going unnoticed.
