For most mortal beings, death is the last great adventure. Yet, for a select few, destiny may intervene. During your time adventuring, you found yourself out matched and met with an early death by a fatal blow. As the cold hand of death lay up you, the spirit of a powerful entity stayed it's suffocating grip before your mortal soul departed for the planes beyond.
Offering to restore your body to life by merging it's essence with yours until it's worldly purpose is complete, you accept this gift and opportunity to see your own living desires fulfilled. The spirit bonds with you, creating a new dual entity inhibiting the restored vessel that was your physical form. Awakening to this new life, you forged ahead making the best of this second chance you have been granted at life.

When you reach LVL 3 you gain access to Spirit Channeling abilities. You may spend points per long rest to channel the unique abilities of your Spirit Bond to augment your skills or focus your senses.

Spell List
Any character merged with a spiritual being will have their spell effects altered in ways inherent to the being in which they are bound. Discuss different effects or traits with your DM on a spell by spell or over all bases.
Additionally, unique abilities and spells can be cast by expending your Spirit Channeling Points, allowing you to harness the power of your spiritual partner.

Suggested Characteristics
A bonded being displays no noticeable physical changes unless openly channeling; at which time a greenish or blueish light will be seen emanating from their eyes or slowly leaking from any visible scars or open wounds. Beings with True Sight or Astral Vision will be able to see the Spiritual pairing as the disembodied being standing close beside you.
