You were simply never meant to exist. Perhaps you were an error by some deity, a glitch in the abyss, a child of the ethereal and astral plane, or something else. Whatever happened, you are a mistake in the fabric of reality, and a smudge in the book of fate. Nothing holds you down, and nothing holds you back. After all, you are nothing. So, why not make something out of nothing.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from among Deception, History, Religion, or Stealth

What made you?
What caused something never meant to exist to exist? What caused something to happen that was never meant to happen? What caused a smudge in the book of fate? What made you?

What made you? |
1
You are somehow the child of the ethereal and astral plane.
2
A deity made a mistake, and you are it's result.
3
Someone messed up a summoning ritual/spell and somehow created you.
4
The chaotic magic of the feywild made something it was never meant to make. You are that something.
5
The cycle of the shadowfell broke for a second, and life emerged from it. That was when you were born.
6
Within the elemental chaos, there was a void of no elements for a split second. Enough time for a soul to meld itself to that void.
7
An archdevil made a loophole in a contract. That loophole somehow caused you.
8
Death vanished from a space for a second. Enough time for life to sprout from it.
9
A dragon/adventurer messed around with an ancient artifact, and you popped out.
10
Life tried to start in between the material planes. It succeeded.
Feature: Undetectable
The higher beings cannot see you. Whether it be a god or archdevil, a darklord or an archfey, a great old one or a fathomless entity, a lich or a noble genie, even magic or death itself. It doesn't matter how powerful they are or how much they can see, nor what they are; you are their one true blind spot. Anyone with truesight sees you as invisible, you are immune to all detection spells, and any tremorsense/blindsight perception rolls against you have disadvantage. If a warlock, cleric or paladin were to ask the entity they worship about you, the entity would simply question who they were talking about and claim no such being exists.
Suggested Characteristics
You have been given an incredible gift. You became something instead of staying nothing. What will you do with this gift, though?
