You've been apart of countless ambushes which has honed your skill greatly. You expect the worst and enemies can never really get the drop on you.
Whenever the enemy gets a surprise round, you can spend your reaction to also act during that round. You may use this feature equal to your Proficiency Bonus. Regain uses after a long rest.
If you get a surprise round, all your attacks are with advantage during that round.
