You spent the majority of your life working inside of a forge, creating metal gear various purposes. Whether you obtained those skills while you were young, or still use them now in your job, the intense fire of the forge stays with you for life.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose 2 skills between Sleight of Hand (DEX), Arcana (INT), History (INT), Nature (INT)
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose 2 tools between Jeweler's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, Smith's Tools, and Tinker's Tools
- Equipment: You obtain a Whetstone, a Forge Apron (can double as Light Leather Armor), Forge Gloves, Forge Googles, a Hammer and Miner's Pick, as well as a Tinder Box or Flint & Steel.
At your DM's discretion, you also get to start with the tools you chose proficiency in previously.
Feature: Smith's Ingenuity
You can forge or craft any weapon or armor in 1/2 the time it would take normally. Any checks you make to forge those items is with advantage. You also have the ability to use unusual materials, such as mithril, in your work. You still need all the required materials and tools for each item, as well as a forge if necessary.
