Travelling Musician Image

A nomadic type of person, they aren’t tied down to one specific place. Usually bards, they travel the vast world in hopes of inspiring and healing people with their music. They can use their music not only for others delight, but they can get free stay at inns and discounts with merchants in exchange for performances/promotion. Successful performers often travel about in vehicles for convenience, however most musicians, successful or otherwise, prefer to walk about as it is more convenient to give impromptu performances, but some musicians who only do performances for money do travel in vehicles.

Skill Proficiencies: They have skill Proficiencies in performance, obviously, but they either can choose a Proficiency in History (to study successful old pieces), investigation (to find out what kind of music is popular in certain areas) and Perception (to be able to know if they are popular in any given situation).
Tool Proficiencies: Travelling Musicians perfect one instrument for their performances, as it is more convenient to carry around only one instrument than a whole orchestra if they are only staying in a town for a month, at most. They also learn how to control a type of vehicle so moving about is more easier.
Languages: Travelling Musicians often learn other languages to integrate parts of their vocabulary to make their songs sound better. This also helps because they end up learning the whole language, not just the odd word or phrase.
Equipment: The equipment that Travelling Musicians carry are only beneficial to them and their travels, nothing to hinder them.

Feature: Priceless Performance

If a performance is given to a merchant or innkeeper, roll a 1d8. If over 3, then you will be given free hospice in an inn or gifted items for lower prices. If you are staying at an inn, then you will have to do this for the amount of nights you stay, and if you fail a roll then you have to pay the inn price.
