There are many kinds of dissemblers, each using their unique talents to mislead, enchant, or subtly manipulate. Whether within a thieves’ guild, as part of a street performance troupe, or working solo, every Dissembler has a particular specialty, a skill for artfully drawing attention away from their true intentions. You have an innate talent for drawing attention to yourself, or away from yourself, as needed. You can use your charm, a clever distraction, or a quick sleight of hand to divert attention in social settings. As a result, you gain the following benefits:

• Social Diversion: In social encounters, you can easily shift the focus of a conversation to someone or something else, providing an ally with advantage on a Charisma check or giving yourself advantage on a Stealth check to slip away unnoticed.

• Crowd Control: You can always find an eager or curious audience, even in unfamiliar cities or settlements, as long as you perform a simple trick, song, or illusion. This crowd will listen and engage, providing you with an audience, cover, or willing distractions as needed.

• Professional Misdirection: When you are observed by guards, nobles, or other officials, you can make a Charisma (Deception) check to subtly convince them that you belong in the area or are engaged in some harmless activity. On a success, they ignore you or lose suspicion, as long as you act naturally and don’t engage in openly criminal behavior.
