Call to Adventure: Epic Origins Backgrounds

Not every hero or villain has epic origins that make it clear they've been marked by destiny. Just as many grow up as villagers, townsfolk, and commoners, just like you. You grew up in a small village of a few hundred to a few thousand total. Everyone knows each other - though that doesn't mean that they like each other - and there's a strong sense of community.

Your home is distant from major world events, and other villagers tend to hear about them second or third hand. Eventually you entered the broader adventuring world, but you will always be a villager at your core.
