Your life has been spent tending fields or rearing livestock to carve out a living from the land by the sweat of your brow and the strength of your back. Perhaps you are the latest in a long line of countryfolk who have tended this land, well established with your own holdings, or maybe you are a simple serf with little choice but to submit yourself to a life of hard labour. Regardless of how you have come to this life, over the years you have become accustomed to handling livestock or beasts of burden, been hardened by years of labour until you have become like one of the rough, efficient tools with which you make your living, and fallen into the steady rhythm of rural life.

Living in the rural countryside has its' benefits, but it comes with the downside of relative isolation, far from the healers and mages of the cities. So you have learned to make use of the wealth of herbal ingredients to be found in the wilderness surrounding your community and the hedgerows that cut through its' fields. Once per long rest, you can spend an hour collecting herbal ingredients and brewing them into a Potion of Healing (Minor), provided that you have access to vegetated wilderness or farmland, and a Herbalism kit.
