A person not from here, The Traveler background is meant to represent someone from another universe. When using this background, make sure to include what world this person is from, as that might require changes to the modifiers (ex: if you are from a certain magical school, yes, the big one, you might want to add that this class can use magic and/or has higher wisdom/intelligence.)
- Skill Proficiencies: Wisdom +1 (need to be smart to travel dimensions)
Intelligence +1 (Same thing as wisdom)
Constitution -1 (the traveling has left your atoms affected, you are not as healthy)
Charisma - 1 (world travel is not a quick step. you are shut-in like, therefore you aren't very good at charisma)
- Tool Proficiencies: Hammer (how did you build the machine to travel, a rock?)
- Languages: When using this class, (with DM approval) you have traveled through many worlds, therefore you know 2 extra languages.
- Equipment: Portal Gun(check my homebrew for the item. You need a way to get home, and a giant machine isn't very plausible in every reality)
using the portal gun, you can travel through worlds. Although, you either need to sacrifice life energy, or use some kind of powerful energy to hop between worlds.
