Plucked by the magical

After surviving the majority of your child hood on the streets you were found and taken in by a magically trained adept. Then after years of training and practice you have learned your mentors trade.

Skill Proficiencies: You gain +2 proficiency in Arcana and plus +1 in one of the following: Stealth, Sleight of hand, Or Deception.

Tool Proficiencies: Thieves tool, Alchemist tools. 

Languages: Choose any 1 Language.

Equipment: Either 1 Arcane Focus or 1 component pouch.

You were surviving on the streets for most of your childhood and this should translate to your character's mannerism. The one who took you in should also play part in your characters though that depends on who the interacted with you, where they a loving parent or a strict magical instructor that is left up to you.

1	I am crude and have no problem speaking my thoughts on subjects or people with no apologies.
2	I love big crowds but not for the company but because it offers many opportunities to find some neat things in peoples pockets.
3	Nobles can die in a fire for all I care they did nothing to help me so why should I help them?
4	I have sympathy for beggars and those who are forced to live on the streets having been in their shoes before.
5	My things are my things and your things are my things too.
6	If magic and good manners fail me I can always turn to insults and deception.

1	Passion. Dark and the light exists in the world and now we need to face both with the same ferocity. (Neutral)
2	Hope. Corruption and darkness exist but there is also good so bring people into that light, even when it breaks a few rules. (Good)
3	Freedom: Never be chained down by what others expect of you, whether that means breaking the rules or bending them it doesn't matter. (Neutral)

1	My mentor is my parent and they are the most important person to me.
2	I had fellow students when I was taken in by my mentor and they are like family to me.
3	I had friends from my days on the street though whether they would stab me in the back now is totally unknown but I'm sure they forgiven me for those pranks I've pulled on them.

1	I often assume the worst from people and don't trust anyone very easily.
2	Want me to do something, there better be a reward.
3	I am quick kill especially when I'm angry.
4	When I see something of value I often times find it in my hands before I know it.

1	You have kept in touch with your magical mentor and can often turn to them if you need help with any historical or magical inquiries.
2	Their were others who my mentor took in and I can rely on them to help me when I need it.

1	The mayor of the city I grew up in and most of the guards that lived their hate me thanks to my years of stealing from them.
2	I may or may not have stolen from a gang boss before my mentor found me and he may or may not want me dead.
