You spent a significant amount of time somewhere in a nexus plane of connection and travel, such as the Astral or Ethereal Planes. Whether you were raised in that plane, became stuck there due to magical accident, or were banished there by a powerful cosmic being, transitive magic has intertwined itself with every fiber of your being. You are a rare and special force:
something reliable, stable, and consistent in the ever changing atmosphere of the transitive planes.

- Languages: Gith or another language of your choice
- Equipment: A portal key to your homeland on your native plane, one toolset of your choice, a steel mirror, a set of clothes, common, an hourglass, and a pouch containing 10 gp
Living in the Transitive Planes cultivated unique, magical abilities in you. You gain the Scion of the Transitive Planes feat (Manual of the Planes). In addition, you know where to find free, modest lodging and food in the community you grew up in.
