I was plucked from obscurity, noticed for a specific skill; lockpicking perhaps, or maybe a talent for mimicry, or even just the ability to play the grey person, and blend in seamlessly to crowds. The recruiters saw something in me, something that could be moulded into a valuable asset for the Legion. Now, I navigate a world of espionage and covert operations, always aware that my past life is gone, replaced by the shadows
You move with an uncanny grace and silence, allowing you to traverse difficult terrain and slip past unnoticed. You gain the following benefits:
- Difficult terrain doesn't slow you while you are trying to move stealthily.
- You have advantage on Stealth checks made while moving at half your normal speed or less

Contacts
Your contacts aren't simply random individuals; they are carefully cultivated assets, each with their own specialisations and motivations:
- The Quartermaster (Elara) - A half-elf female who runs a seemingly innocuous trading post. She provides specialist equipment (poisons, climbing gear, lockpicks, signal devices) and can discreetly acquire of dispose of sensitive items. She is motivated by profit, but also harbours a deep respect for the Shadow Legion's efficiency.
- Informant ("Whisper" - Real name unknown) - A network of street urchins, messengers and gossips who gather rumours and intelligence from the city's underbelly. They are motivated by small payments, favours, and a genuine fear of the consequences of crossing the Shadow Legion.
- The Fence (Seddy Hapman) - A charming, handsome and well connected human male rogue who operates a hidden gambling den. He can dispose of stolen goods, launder money and provide access to the criminal underworld. He is motivated by greed and the thrill for risk.
- The Safehouse Keeper (Sister Agnes) - A quiet and unassuming nun from an unclear and mysterious sect (something about The Dawn... Bringer?) who runs a small and secluded hostel. She provides temporary shelter, medical aid and a place to lay low for for Shadow Legion operatives. She is motivated by her faith and a belief in the necessity of the Legion's work.
- The Former Operative (Master Valerius) - A veteran of the Shadow Legion, now retired and living in seclusion. He offers advice, training, and a connection to the Legion's history. He is motivated by a sense of duty and a desire to see the Legion continue it's vital work.
