This information gathering can be on people, places, or organizations. The pieces of information you can learn are varied, pick 3 off the following list and discuss with your DM, the DM can veto your choices but should supply an alternative option.
The information you can gather can be: Full name, leaders, age, marital status, species, basic history, blueprints, class, level, estimated wealth, staff names, place of residence, place of work, signature, standard document procedure, titles, job position, number and composition of close family, close friends, basic acquaintances, prepared spells (DM"s choice, 2 revealed minimum).
