The Simpleton is someone who’s been blessed (or cursed) with a simple way of seeing the world. Whenever a creature you are interacting with fails a Charisma (Persuasion) check against you, you can choose to gain advantage on your next Charisma-based check (this does not stack with advantage from other sources). This represents your ability to inspire good intentions from others, even if they initially doubt you.

3. Simple Gifts: You may not have fancy or complicated items, but you know how to use what you have in clever, uncomplicated ways. As a result, you can gain access to a simple item from your past: a lucky trinket, a simple amulet, or a rustic charm that grants you resistance to one type of damage (fire, cold, or force) for 1 hour once per long rest
