Feature: Whispers of the Network

You have access to an informal network of informants, spies, and contacts who can supply you with knowledge—for a price. You can spend an hour and 10 gp to attempt to gather specific information about a person, place, or event. Roll a d20 and add your choice of Investigation or Persuasion to the roll. The DM will determine how much information you uncover based on the result. On a natural 20, you may gain a crucial secret or hidden insight that exceeds expectations.
