You and your unlikely sibling are not from this world, instead you hail from the Feywild and you are an oddity in this world. While people have heard of the Feywild and its wonders those who know are few and far inbetween, most people will watch you with suspicion. Some might even hunt you down of the common folk, but people who research dragons in secret might be interested in your heritage, or perhaps they are interested in your sister the kitsune. But even a kind gesture might have malice hidden behind it, staying close to each other is often safer than seperating.
Still you might find some odd friends in this new world and with enough heroic deeds or evil deeds you might make a name for yourself. Overcome the odds that face you both on this path, work together and trust in each other.
This background is for people who play either as Dragonborns, dragon-hybrids who look more humanoid then dragonborn, or Kitsunes. Discuss with your DM if you want to play a different race with this background.

Prior to arriving on this new realm, you experienced a strange twist of events that led you o find your new sister. This strange event has constantly been on your mind ever since, it might have lasting effects on you which is why you came to this new plane. Or perhaps its a fond memory of days past, either way... You protect your sister fiercly and people can see this, when they look at you they can see who is the elder one. They might blame you for your sisters appearance but that doesn't matter, there is only one thing that matters and that is the safety of you and your sister... And ofcourse your more personal goals. But the common person wouldn't be able to see that, yet some might see through you and see you have goals of your own.
Attracting both good and less so good people who might seek to offer you help for your personal goals and your sisters protection... Or they might be after something else.
