Taken at birth, you were raised as a Phoenix Guard. An elite group of fighters and sorcerers who live to serve the Phoenix King of the Dune Marchers. They were selective chosen at birth by people known as "Seekers." They are a detachment of the Phoenix Guard who search tirelessly for those who are born to serve the phoenix god Phoenibili. You don't know who your birth parents are, but you don't care. You were also apart of a chosen few who got the gift of the Phoenix Blood. Blood from the phoenixes that once were a landmark of your kingdom, but now long extinct. Vials of their blood was collected before they disappeared. This blood gives you the power and knowledge over fire. Fire is a destructive, yet living thing. It has the power to take away, but also the power to give. It can burn, but it can just as equally give warmth. Your powers of fire aren't just to hurt those who dare stand against the Phoenix King, but also to heal those he calls allies.
