Lucky Experiences

In the table below there are some examples of lucky or unexplained experiences that have happened to you during the course of your life. Feel free to roll on the table, take one or two examples, or simply use these as inspiration for your characters odd talent of consistently falling upward.

d6 Lucky Experiences
1 The Coin Toss Incident – As a child, you were dared to call a coin flip 100 times in a row. You got every single one right. The local priest, the town wizard, and a very concerned gambler all showed up to "test" you further. You still don’t know why they looked so horrified when you called "edge" and the coin landed perfectly balanced on its side.
2 The Unlucky Pickpocket – A thief once tried to rob you in a dark alley but tripped over a stray cat, tumbled into a pile of barrels, and somehow managed to tie themselves up in rope. The city guards who found you standing over them assumed you were some kind of crime-fighting vigilante and gave you a medal. You still wear it, even though you have no idea how you earned it.
3 The Catapult Fiasco – During a siege, you accidentally leaned on a lever you shouldn’t have, launching yourself from a catapult. Instead of dying horribly, you crashed through a window into the enemy warlord’s tent, knocking them unconscious. The opposing army immediately surrendered, convinced this was some kind of divine assassination attempt. You never told anyone it was an accident.
4 The Divine Bath – While strolling through a temple courtyard, a passing cleric dumped a bucket of holy water off a balcony—right onto your head. Moments later, a hidden Vampire assassin trying to stab you burst into flames and vanished. The cleric took credit, but you’re pretty sure they had no idea what had just happened either.
5 The Winning Hand – You once sat down at a high-stakes card game without knowing how to play. Every round, you confidently declared random phrases like "Two-Pair Royale" and "Celestial Flush." The other players, unsure if you were a master gambler or an actual oracle, paid you to leave before you "accidentally" took their life savings.
6 The Lucky Escape – You once fell into an open sewer grate, only to land safely on a passing hay cart that had just turned the corner. The startled driver lost control, crashed through a marketplace, and somehow managed to overturn a cart of stolen goods right in front of the town guard. They arrested the thieves, rewarded you as a hero, and luckily the thieves never identified you.
