[This was made to follow the rules of backgrounds from the new 2024 Player's Handbook]

For one reason or another, you have become a hunter of monsters. Whether you fight to protect others or fight only to add to your pouch of gold, hunting monsters has become a part of your life. 

 

Ability Scores: Constitution, Strength, and Wisdom

Skill Proficiencies: Perception and Survival

Tool Proficiencies: Herbalism Kit - Fighting monsters is a dangerous endeavor, thus, you have become quite familiar with using a herbalism kit while on the road.

Languages: Choose 1 language - Maybe it is the language of the monster type you hunt most often. Maybe it is a language you simply picked up along the way.

Equipment: A monster hunter's pack, a herbalism kit, a set of Traveler’s Clothes, and 10 GP OR 50 GP
